Arconic is currently in search of a Door Hardware Advisor to join our Kawneer Business. This role will report to KNA Bloomsburg, PA but the candidate may reside within 50 miles of other KNA locations (ideally located near Bloomsburg, PA for highest level door and manufacturing experience).

This position is designed for an individual that has demonstrated an understanding of door, frame, hardware, and electronic access controls products and their applications.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Two years’ experience in Estimating or Door Take-off or equivalent experience with another commercial door and door hardware supplier.
• Experience with AutoCad or comparable Wiring Diagram schematic software
• Ability to travel and attend 2-3 Commercial Construction Expos per year and self promote one’s services and team services
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recognized Door Hardware Institute certifications (Access Control System Consultant (ACSC); Door Hardware Specification Consultant (DHSC), or Door Hardware Consultant (DHT)
• Legacy DHI certifications are also preferrable including EHC (Electrified Hardware Consultant), CDC (Certified Door Consultant), or AOC (Architectural Opening Consultant)
• Two- or Four-year College Degree or 3 years industry experience in Commercial doors and door
