The Florida Physical Therapy Association is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and creative Director of Membership and Communications.  This position requires experience in database management, customer service, and social media and plays a key role in delivering exceptional members experiences.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all Association programs and projects.
• Implement and manage social media programs
• Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
• Enhance and manage website
• Responsible for creation of bi-weekly newsletter to members.
• Effectively market and promote membership to the FPTA
• Develop and maintain an effective member retention plan
• Act as Member Liaison to the FPTA and its leadership

• 1–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), website CMS tools, and social media platforms.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Prior work with associations, nonprofits, or membership-based organizations is helpful.
