The Member Engagement Specialist supports the Member Engagement Director and plays a role in enhancing the member experience. This position works with the Team to build engagement and deepen relationships with our firms, their staff and other audiences, as appropriate, by driving awareness and connecting them with opportunities and offerings. This position collaborates with our Marketing Team on social media and messaging. The Member Engagement Specialist also works closely with and serves as a back-up to the Membership and Database Specialist to maintain the integrity of our database and CRM and provides reports to key leaders, staff and management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Member Engagement Support
Support the Member Engagement Director in all efforts to increase engagement and coordination of member retention efforts.
Work with the Member Engagement Director to prepare marketing materials, organize events and activities for existing and prospective members.
Provide assistance with all four Selected Communities, helping to schedule events, creating communications and logging attendees into the CRM.
Curate content and distribute the newly revamped quarterly Selected Communities e-newsletter.
Coordinate the NextGen Professional of the Year award process to ensure timely and consistent execution.
Assist with Linking Leaders quarterly call, including Zoom set up, reminder notices, participant follow-up, outreach and reports.
Responsible for Bulletin content including Members in The News and Member Spotlights. Assist with other Bulletin and e-publications, as needed.
Assist in mailings, including Membership Milestones, new member Welcome Packages and ordering Membership Milestone plaques for the Annual Meeting presentation.
Serve on the Phone Support Team, assisting callers, answering questions and member follow-up.
Participate in member renewal activities such as Thank you calls and related retention outreach.
Serve as backup for New Member Orientations and Firm Benefits Refreshers.
Database/CRM Support
Support and assist the Membership and Database Specialist by maintaining and updating member records, running queries for reports and outreach efforts.
Assist in collecting and ensuring data accuracy, tracking membership statistics and preparing reports.
Work with the Membership and Database Specialist to create, review and schedule Death Notices and other member messaging, as needed.
Social Media Support
Work with the Member Engagement Director and serve as a liaison to the Marketing Team to develop, schedule, create and oversee social media content across platforms to enhance engagement and grow audiences.
Monitor interactions on social channels, responding to inquiries and fostering a vibrant online community.
Collect, report and analyze social media performance metrics, optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and making informed recommendations on continual improvements.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and two to five years’ experience working in a membership, marketing or service capacity for an association or nonprofit organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
Experience with social media posting and analytic platforms required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, database software and survey programs such as QuestionPro.
