SUMMARY:

The Account Program Manager, Partner Relations has primary responsibility for handling sales and deliverables of those sales, as well as managing assigned relationships, and assisting in overall partner retention, partner deliverables, and partner communications.  Sales include sponsorship, advertising, events sponsorship, and table sales. The Account Program Manager will work with members of the Partnership team and other internal NACD teams to fulfill the contractual obligations. The Account Program Manager will be the primary relationship manager for the account the Account Program Manager sells. The Account Program Manager works closely with the other members of the Partner Relations team and many NACD departments on many events and NACD programs. .

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solicits new business from new accounts.
• Creates and delivers proposals and contracts that result in both revenue growth and partner satisfaction.

• Responsible for:
• table sales at NACD’s annual awards gala(s)
• selling new sponsorships by developing new relationships and selling advertising in print and online
• selling exhibit booths and other sponsorship opportunities at NACD’s Summit from new and existing relationships.
• Leads the implementation of contractual obligations the Account Program Manager sells and supports the rest of the Partnership team implementing contractual obligations from other partners and sponsors.
• Independently develop account strategies and build new and existing partner relationships.
• Gather and report on appropriate leads, prospects, and sales opportunities.
• Ability to sell to senior level marketing leads.

• Coordinates logistics for events related to custom partner programs such as Lunch & Learns.
• Travels to select offsite meetings, events, and all relevant partner meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of sales experience is required. A demonstrated ability to serve as a successful consultative advisor to senior executives and a business sophistication level to interact effectively and creatively with all levels of any organization is required.

 Must have a broad knowledge of and experience in sales, events, and client relations. Must have strong sales, interpersonal (internal and external) and negotiation skills. Must have experience creating new sales leads and new relationships. Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills and be highly organized. Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

NACD employees are required to be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus by their first day of employment.  An employee is “fully vaccinated” two weeks after receiving their second dose of a two-dose vaccination series or two weeks after the first shot of a single-dose vaccine (or as described by the vaccine manufacturer).

The salary/hourly range for this position is $95,000-$105,000 plus significant bonus potential. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
