TRIA is looking to add a full-time energetic and highly motivated Business Development staff member to work directly with our Director of Business Development. The ideal candidate would have experience in the A/E/C field.
Your role will be to foster communication with potential clients, work with design staff and principals to create and update marketing materials, update social media accounts, prepare responses to requests for qualifications, work with Principals to prepare teams for interviews, attend trade shows and other marketing events, foster business relationships with current and potential clients, and track potential project leads. You will work together with architectural design and graphic design staff to promote brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with design staff to create marketing content and materials for qualifications packages, interviews, presentations, awards submittals and leave behind materials.
Write persuasively and edit text to create compelling and grammatically correct copy for marketing materials
Create and curate innovative and creative media content across social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook).
Collaborate with Principals and design staff to coordinate marketing efforts, including press releases, award submissions, and social media content.
Collaborate on interview preparation and coordinating the development and production of presentation graphics and research, supporting the interview team’s preparedness.
Maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders to enhance business partnerships.
Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness.
Provide and incorporate business intelligence on potential clients
Maintain marketing documents, templates, files, client contacts, and website.
Maintain a calendar of marketing activities, submissions, and deadlines.
Track long-term leads and potential projects.
Assist the Director of Business Development in preparing and tracking the annual marketing budget.
Coordinate project photo shoots.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline
A minimum of three (3) years of business development and/or marketing related experience
Excellent writing, proofreading skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
A data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
Proactive and resourceful with a positive attitude.
Articulates ideas well in both verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in common grammar, punctuation, proofing, and business writing
Must have own transportation
Able to lift 25 pounds
Available to work trade shows approximately 6-8 weekends per year
Knowledge of the design and/or construction industry is a plus.
Ability to play golf or willingness to learn a plus
