The Royal Group, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking Sales Account Executives to support our Marlton, NJ, facility. The Sales Account Executive is responsible for profitability growth TRG sales of retail display, packaging, and related turn-key services to include temporary and permanent displays, creative design services, contract packaging/assembly, and logistics. Calls large national retailers and consumer packaged goods companies to achieve planned sales objectives and satisfy customer needs. Customers are commonly multi-locations and complex in nature with multi-division demands. This position is responsible for both a consultative and a transactional mix of accounts in a fast-paced environment that requires continuous interactions with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues while maintaining profits and efficiency margins.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Knowledge of retail packaging trends, consumer trends, off-shelf merchandising, and the corrugated industry, including container designs (characteristics and specifications), enhanced graphics, pricing and costing practices, quality processes, and printing.
- Professional sales skills to support the selling of the “value-added” retail packaging products and services. Strong knowledge and application of sales strategies and resources.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general business principles, internal financial management, and industry business practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of functional areas (sales, marketing, logistics, etc.) within the customer’s organization, primarily directed at the selling of their products to the retail marketplace.
- Must be comfortable working independently on a day-to-day basis, but equally adept at working closely with internal stakeholders to develop customer proposals and to ensure successful execution of existing orders.
- Deliver solutions on a quick-time basis, provide a “speed to market” advantage relative to our competition; make decisions quickly with good follow through skills. Provide the necessary service to follow up and retain successful sales.
- Negotiate with customers and overcome obstacles; ability to handle pressure, stress, and rejection.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime or irregular hours; overnight travel required approximately 50% of the time or more.
- Ability to handle details accurately and in a timely manner.
- Excellent time management, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- Prepare annual sales forecast analysis on existing and potential new accounts.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Five years of selling national, regional, or local users of value-added packaging and/or point-of-purchase displays and fulfillment.
- Must possess a proven track record of successful sales growth (volume margins) and thrive on opening new business.
- Extensive work experience in the point-of-purchase/retail packaging industry highly desirable. Corrugated, folding carton, packaging sales experience a plus.
- BS or BA in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and the ability to drive.
PREFFERED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- College degree in business administration or marketing.
- Sales experience in the point-of-purchase/retail packaging Industry.

- Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, training, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage, area, and volume. Ability to compute cost, profits, rates, and ratios.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information or standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Leadership Attributes – must possess the following: Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effecting and efficient meeting. Excellent crisis manager who demonstrates that he/she has a high emotional control under adverse conditions and can lead his/her personnel to a successful resolution. Professional appearance to support his/her role as a managerial representative.
