About this Role:

We are looking for two Digital Marketing Strategist IV’s who will drive the marketing strategy for our sites and help the team achieve quarterly and annual goals for keyword rankings, web traffic and leads. 

The position requires a high level of integrity, independence and dedication to carrying out the company’s core values. This role is expected to reflect expertise, autonomy and self-direction in its approach to the responsibilities assigned below.

Role Expectations:

• Contribute to the development of effective marketing initiatives across all web properties to meet or exceed traffic and lead-generation goals set by the company for various websites and projects.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Content Lead, and Development Lead to build robust, lead-generating websites.
• Understand and manage lead funnel reporting for all projects.
• Possess an advanced understanding of marketing tools and train others on their usage.
• Play a pivotal role in achieving the company's overall business goals.
• Responsible for the impact and success of metrics/results, as well as making correct decisions and recommendations that align with project schedules and milestones.

Advanced experience in SEO including:

• Constant monitoring of analytics and search console.
• Implementation of E-E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) initiatives.
• Ensure the site and every page establish a robust E-E-A-T.
• Generate positive reviews and mentions of the site.
• Protect the websites from algorithmic penalties.
• Follow Launch That's best practices for SEO.
• Oversee link audits and disavows.

Advanced experience in Paid including:

• Ensure projects are on track to meet lead and budget goals.
• Develop PPC and traditional marketing strategies.
• Generate quality leads within target CPL and budget.
• Execute PPC campaigns on platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook, Display, and Print.
• Manage keyword expansion, bidding, ad copy creation and testing, asset creation and testing, landing page creation and A/B testing, and advanced PPC optimizations.
• Conduct keyword and competitive research.
• Provide regular PPC performance reports and analysis to management.
• Recognize performance anomalies and developing and executing improvements.

Advanced experience in Email marketing including:

• Generate leads through social media and email tactics.
• Execute email strategies.
• Manage responses to email initiatives.
• Write and report on email marketing initiatives (newsletter, engagement programs, etc.).
• Implement list-building tactics to grow the email list.

Quality Impact:

• Ensure all website leads are directed to the correct partners.
• Flag and resolve partner or technical issues.
• Continuously seek out education opportunities to expand professional knowledge.
• Assist the Director of Marketing in maintaining quality control standards for websites through audits and improvements.

Team Impact:

• Collaborate with team members within and across departments to gain diverse viewpoints and achieve inclusive goal completion.
• Communicate the purpose and requirements of recommended strategies to cross-functional teams.
• Work with content and development/design teams to implement updates and changes.
• Collaborate with marketing team members on strategic insights, digital innovation, analytics, and reporting.
• Provide feedback on team projects and initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and acting as a leader among peers.
• Assist in training new hires and lower-level Marketing colleagues.
• Share industry trends and best practices with the team through blog posts, presentations, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO and/or 2 years of demonstrated experience in Paid/Email and 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or a combination of equivalent experience.
• Technical SEO expertise and experience with tools like Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, CRM (Salesforce), Screaming Frog, etc.
• Experience in SEO audits, managing major web properties, and developing paid and email strategies.
• Proficiency in social media management and design tools, reporting tools, and listening tools.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business performance data.
• History of content curation.
• Self-management and ability to complete tasks independently.
• Ability to identify and recommend changes based on anomalies and performance.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
• Agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in both learning and sharing knowledge.
