The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) is seeking a marketing & communications coordinator to assist the communications director with daily social media, website news, research, and public relations. This position will also involve working with the association’s associate executive director on other projects as needed. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Social Media: Daily activities include monitoring social media communities through Hootsuite, analyzing data, researching topics, and developing social/digital advertising posts and campaigns to be approved by the Communications Director.
Website: Daily responsibilities include ongoing site maintenance, testing links and web pages for accuracy and functionality, logging into third-party add-ons (Association Management System (AMS) platform, Jot-Form, etc.) creating web graphics as needed, and working on the front-end development of any new projects.
Public Relations: Daily activities include assisting with research for articles and press releases, editing various materials, reviewing advertising for the FOMA Journal and website, and monitoring and gathering member highlights for publication.
Publications: Help design and create the association’s periodical, the FOMA Journal. Gather articles and assist with the Weekly FOMA Newswire through Constant Contact. Ensure review of weekly FOMA Newswire to coordinate social media.
