CDA is seeking a remote Marketing and Member Services Associate to provide administrative support for marketing, membership and events reporting to staff lead. This entry-level position is an exciting opportunity to have a direct and immediate impact on marketing and member services of the association. Primary Responsibilities:
Provide key support to staff lead for member communications including integrated marketing, promotional campaigns, and data management across all member engagement areas within the organization
Provide administrative support for various committee liaisons including scheduling meetings, soliciting reports, compiling materials, recording minutes, etc.
Provide support for database, social media, website and event websites
Provide project management with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet specified timelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Committed to providing a high level of member service, responding quickly to requests, anticipating members’ needs and maintaining a positive and professional attitude
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently, using strong decision-making and sound judgement
Highly organized, detail-oriented with the capacity to execute multiple projects and prioritize deliverables through good communication and use of process
Ability to work in a virtual environment where teamwork, collaboration and communication are essential
Candidate must be committed to interacting professionally with colleagues, members and external contacts
Positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication and computer skills are a must
CRM experience preferred; Microsoft Dynamics experience beneficial
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and event software preferred
Ability to travel and participate in annual events approximately 4-8 times per year
Virtual/telework with physical office in Reston, VA. Must have dedicated office space with reliable internet
