St. Mary Academy - Bay View, founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1874, is an all-girls’ school and is a member institution of the Mercy Education System of the Americas, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Mercy. Bay View’s campus is located in Riverside, Rhode Island, five miles east of the state Capitol building. St. Mary Academy - Bay View is one academy housing three schools - Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School.
