The Member Services Coordinator will work with limited supervision, plans, directs and manages member services activities to provide added value to member banks through associate and endorsed vendor partnerships by performing the following duties:
Membership Solicitation and Retention:
Strategically identifies, recommends and solicits new associate and endorsed vendor partnerships to benefit member banks.
Identifies, recommends and develops programs to attract and retain associate and endorsed vendor memberships that provide the best value to member banks.
Collaborates with VP, Marketing and Communications to retain and strategically grow associate and endorsed memberships.
Serves as primary contact for associate and endorsed vendors and member banks seeking information about vendor membership, opportunities and programs.
Executes processes to effectively track associate and endorsed vendor agreements, information and inquiries.
Advertising and Sponsorship Sales:
Strategically identifies and develops advertising and sponsorship opportunities, proposals, programs and packages that best meet the needs of both member banks and associate and endorsed vendor partners.
Identifies and solicits vendor advertisements for IBA publications and directories.
Identifies and solicits vendor sponsorships and exhibits for IBA events and conferences.
Researches and recommends advertising and sponsorship rates, programs, processes and best practices.
Ensures advertising and sponsorships are sold and fulfilled as promised.
Recommends, plans and coordinates various membership appreciation and sponsorship-related events, including but not limited Chairman's Cup.
Collaborates with CEO and VP, Marketing and Communications to strengthen relationships with existing bank members and new/prospective Iowa banks.
Maintains associate member records and CRM databases and ensures they are accurate and up to date.
Required Education: High school diploma or college degree
Required Work Experience: Five plus yeas related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
