The Executive Director would serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the Authority and be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the landfill.  This is a full-time position with benefits including family health insurance and participation in Alabama state employee retirement system.   Employee’s principal duties and responsibilities shall be as follows: Direct and supervise Authority employees responsible for day-to-day operation of the landfill; Serve as representative of Authority in overseeing design and construction of Authority Sub-title D landfill, as same as expanded from time to time, including its gas collection and destruction system; Represent Authority before regulatory agencies, oversee regulatory compliance;
