Position Summary:

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is seeking a Manager of Expo Operations for its Meetings & Events Team. This individual will be primarily responsible for the pre-planning, on-site management, invoice reconciliation, budget management and vendor Request for Proposals (RFP) and vendor management for the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings (RLM) and NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience (NAR NXT). The Manager, Expo Operations will report to the Director, Operations.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage fulfillment of sponsorships for internal exhibitors and numerous sponsorships sold by NAR’s third-party management company for RLM and NAR NXT. (i.e. hotel rooms keys, recharge stations, exhibitor meeting private meeting rooms, grand opening receptions, coffee stations, lanyards, etc.)
• Manage implementation of vendor orders, website content as it relates to vendor services and budgets for Expo and miscellaneous meeting vendors which include security, audio visual, coat check, service contractor, shuttle, floral, first aid, digital signs for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Manage in-house Resume system used to communicate specifications and Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for all areas on the Expo Floor, Lobby/Foyers and NAR Registration for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Manage and produce the RLM and NAR NXT Exhibitor Service Kit with NAR third-party and service contractor.
• Manage RFP process for shuttle, security and service contractor multi-year contracts.  
• Manage Exhibitor Meeting Room request based on the Meeting & Events State & Ancillary Policy for individual meetings, receptions, etc. during RLM and NAR NXT.
• Manage Expo, Registration. Lobby/Foyer Displays and Driveway floorplans with staff, NAR third-party Show Management Vendor and service contractor.
• Produce and distribute the NAR On-Site Emergency Book for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Participation in bi-weekly and weekly sales and sponsorship meetings and weekly touch base operations meetings for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Process Convention Center rental deposits for current and future meetings for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Travel to site inspection meetings (3-5 days per meeting) and coordinate virtual vendor meetings as needed for RLM and NAR NXT.
• Travel to RLM and NXT to execute the Expo. (7-10 days each meeting)
