Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Advancement Services (DAS), the Prospect Researcher (PR) identifies, researches, and analyzes information on current and prospective donors to the Children’s Defense Fund. The PR provides research support to key leadership at CDF and within Institutional Advancement team to inform development strategies and advance potential donor relationships. The PR responds to research requests in a timely manner, analyzing and synthesizing information, and generating user-friendly profiles, memos, and reports. The researcher qualifies, screens, and rates potential donors, and proactively identifies new prospective major ($10,000+) and principal gift ($250,000+) donors for frontline colleagues.
