The Industry Communications and Events Manager (ICEM) will focus on creating and driving creative, measurable digital and traditional marketing communications campaigns. This includes planning for and executing integrated marketing tactics addressing traditional and digital vehicles to help ensure company branding, product and services promotion, industry recognition, and lead generation. This position will manage relationships with industry associations, participation in industry events, and communications to all event sectors eShow supports. Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Collaborate with other teams to identify and promote the public voice of the eShow brand
Create style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing, advertising
Draft press releases and speeches following organizational news
Communicate with media outlets and journalists and create press kits
Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices
Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies
Developing marketing strategies for products
Review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints
Manage third-party lead-gen applications and communication service vendors
Analyzing website click-to-purchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions to determine what drives sales
Work with product development team and sales to create product promotional materials
Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management
Help identify the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups and help to feed these channels with the appropriate messaging.
Responsible for media plan, editorial calendar and internal and external communications as related to area of responsibility
Creating and maintaining project plans to successfully move all projects forward in a timely, collaborative and efficient manner.
Develop an overarching strategy and execution plan for key conferences, trade shows, meetings, charitable events and other activities.
Developing materials, presentations and other marketing communications for launches, campaigns and other product and service marketing efforts as well as sales meetings, tradeshows and events.
Serves as project manager for all digital and in-person events, maintaining a project plan, and overseeing a cross-functional team of resources from within business units, marketing, communications, sales and other departments
Attending and participating in all relevant trade shows
Responsible for monitoring program success and ROI analytics, and reporting to appropriate Directors, product managers, etc.
Other duties related to marketing, communications, and event management
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6-8 years’ experience in the Tradeshow Industry. Experience in Corporate Meetings and Events a plus
Proven track record of effective copy writing (Portfolio required to be considered for this position)
Proven track record of creating effective Marketing Campaigns (Portfolio required to be considered for this position)
Excellent knowledge of the events industry.
Experience leveraging event metrics to demonstrate value and ROI from marketing communication plans and event activities
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong vendor negotiation skills.
Effective time management skills and multi-task oriented.
Ability to within short-term deadlines.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Visual activity requirements are those of Clerical Administrative. This is a minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer terminal, extensive reading, operation of machines, and using measurement devices.
