Directs overarching strategy for corporate engagement activities, including sponsorship, local cause partnerships, and Children's Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH) activities. Leads a team to increase the level of investment, grow relationships, and raise the profile of Children's Wisconsin as a charitable cause among corporations. Responsible for developing and implementing fundraising and engagement strategies with corporations. This position initiates and leads the team's effort to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective sponsors and cause partners. In collaboration with senior Foundation leaders, responsible for goal setting and meeting and/or exceeding annual established revenue goals for funds raised from sponsorships, cause partnerships and CMNH campaigns.
Bachelor's degree required. At least five years of successful fundraising experience with corporations in a not for profit organization (or similar corporate solicitation/sales experience) and at least three years of management experience. Demonstrated ability to structure and coordinate efforts that maximize team efficiency and results. Strong and effective writing, communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with volunteers, staff, donors, prospects and the general public and to represent Children's to external organizations in a professional manner. Experience in prospect development and enhancing relationships with corporate sponsorship and cause partners. Well organized and able to manage multiple and diverse priorities. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Raiser's Edge a plus. Some travel required.
