Senior BD & Marketing Manager - Investment Funds

This position is open to applicants in the general Chicago and New York City areas. The Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager is a recognized leader within the Marketing Department and serves as a primary business development and marketing liaison to the Investment Funds Global Practice Group, and related practices. In conjunction with the practice leaders, s/he is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and leading coordinated business development strategies and marketing campaigns to expand existing and potential client relationships and raise the profile of the practice. The Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager collaborates with international counterparts to coordinate global support for the Investment Funds practice, as well as with other marketing and practice leaders across practices and functions. S/he will have direct supervisory responsibilities for a BD and Marketing Specialist (and potentially other junior team members) and is responsible for fostering a collaborative, high-performing team. Additionally, s/he may be required to lead cross-functional project teams and is expected to lead by example, mentor junior members of the team and embody the highest standards of service delivery. The role requires the development of strong and effective working relationships within the Marketing Department, as well as with other administrative departments and lawyers.
