Off Premise Director

The Off-Premise Director will oversee strategy, management and execution of digital ordering platforms and delivery channels including website, app, and 3^rd party delivery. This position is responsible for channel growth through the implementation of system, process, program, and marketing standards across owned and 3rd party delivery touchpoints. This position will also serve as a strategic partner responsible for leading the cross-functional growth and management of Zaxby’s Off Premise programs.  Our preferred candidate will have restaurant or retail experience with focus on developing channels for profitability, sales, and transaction growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Establish and lead cross-functional team of Brand Management, IT, Operations, and FP&A as business owner of off premise sales including order ahead and 3rd party delivery
• Develop, manage and support system processes, training material, marketing collateral, ecommerce product management and corporate communications to promote delivery adoption and online ordering for the Franchise and End Consumer
• Lead key projects and initiatives including testing and piloting programs, implementation, and performance tracking and reporting to ensure successful execution of off-premise strategy
• Work with Brand Management to build comprehensive marketing strategies to drive increased awareness and actions that translates to sales growth
• Serve as an internal expert and Franchisee resource for digital sales channels and platforms troubleshooting and supporting digital ordering issues that arise
• Measure and report on off premise performance campaigns and assess ROI
• Support menu, pricing and promotional initiatives to build delivery and online sales channels

Zaxby’s Order Ahead

• Oversee ecommerce development and optimization across website and app ordering including UX coordination, development, testing, bug fixes, and new functionality
• Work with Brand Management, IT, and Operations to provide an easy consumer experience that drives adoption and frequency
• Establish KPIs for Order Ahead satisfaction from the end consumer with supporting procedures and training development and implementation by Operations
• Partner with Brand Management to develop marketing messaging and campaigns supporting Zaxby’s Order Ahead channels

Delivery

• Own delivery communication and customer ordering journey across website, app, and 3^rd party delivery
• Establish KPIs for delivery satisfaction from the end consumer and 3^rd party providers supporting procedures and training development and implementation by Operations
• Establish and manage delivery marketing calendar working with Brand Management to support national and local calendars including input on paid and owned channel programming strategy and optimization
• Owns and maintains relationships and contracts with 3^rd party delivery vendors
• Manages day-to-day support for off-premise operations in support of restaurants and franchisees

QUALIFICATIONS

• Restaurant industry experience preferred that requires strategic responsibilities and program administration
• Leadership and influencing skills to lead teams, building positive relationships and collaborating with internal and external partners
• Experience working with Project Management Teams
• Financial acumen with a high level of accountability
