Music PR agency Big Feat PR is launching a virtual intern program - an opportunity to learn about music publicity, media and the music industry as a whole and gain hands on experience in music PR. The role will have flexible hours, but ideally looking for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per month. Role will include:
Learning about the current media landscape and helping research exciting new writers
Learning how to write a press release, track by tracks and artist bios and understanding artistic narrative and messaging
Monitoring client coverage and benchmarking music PR campaigns
Learning how to pitch for album reviews, features and interviews
The role will be self sufficient - working from home but with daily check ins with team on zoom to discuss progress, concerns, ask questions and learn.
An ideal applicant will be a graduate from a music industry based colleague program but anyone with an interest in working in music publicity may apply.
