Manage, plan, and implement digital media campaigns and marketing efforts to drive association membership and promote events
Anticipate and advise on future initiatives in the digital landscape based on evolving trends, industry news and competitor marketplace
Write, edit and distribute weekly e-newsletter and quarterly digital magazine
Monitor trade publications and national media for issues related to home care industry
Design and implement public relations initiatives to promote members and the industry
Manage association’s membership database, includes data entry, reports, updates and ongoing maintenance.
Manage association’s email marketing efforts, includes writing, design and delivery of email content calendar and copy for events, membership and general information
Manage association’s social media presence, includes posting content daily, monitoring industry partners and members, and engaging with stakeholders
Analyze marketing and membership data to assess goals and forecast needs
Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively to various audience through multiple channels audiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
5-7 years of experience specialized in digital marketing or 6 years or more in traditional and digital marketing/public relations required.
Basic graphic design skills
Data management experience
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on association’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
Position is remote. Association is based in Washington, DC.
Telecommuting is allowed.
