This position would support the Northeast Territory which includes: Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut and Maine
Present and sell company’s capital equipment and services to current and potential customers.
Prepare action plans and schedules to increase sales volume in the territory.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, trade shows, etc.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships.
Identify and resolve customer concerns.
Maintain the company CRM on a daily basis
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Coordinate company staff as needed to help close sales
To find new dealer or partnership in this business
Participate in marketing events such as trade shows or seminars
Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum 3 years selling in the Secondary Glass Industry, preferably CNC machines, or similar industry experience.
Similar Industry Experience: Heavy machinery industry (metal, plastic, steel, aluminum, packaging, and handling), Tooling industry, consumables and products for glass processing (silicon, chemicals for glass treatment, etc.), or glass distribution channels who supply glass sheets to glass shops in regular basis,.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools- preferably Salesforce
Ability to build trust and develop relationships with people from small business owners to leadership of large companies
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with customers, management, and colleagues
Ability to travel both domestic and international
Telecommuting is allowed.
