As a Senior Art Director you will develop creative for key categories. You will leverage your knowledge to concept and execute work that celebrates, resonates and furthermore helps to build and maintain meaningful connections with our guest. You will represent Target’s brand (voice and culture) to infuse the work with an unmistakable Target approach, seamlessly integrating a multicultural lens. Your work will live across channels, including Social, Digital, Display, Direct Mail, and In-Store Experiences. You will collaborate with a broad team of Art Directors, Copywriters, Production Artists, Project Managers, and Associate Creative Directors. You will need to demonstrate strong taste level and experience in photo/art direction, graphic design, and typography. You’ll also understand cultural trends, and think strategically about how to show up for different audiences. You will deliver on business goals and objectives, while developing competent base knowledge of categories and guest behaviors. We will support you along the way with onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Senior Art Director. 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
5 -7 years of creative experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of design and photo art direction expertise
Strong conceptual skills and expertise in typography and use of photography
Flexible to travel (weekends included)
