The Digital Content Strategist has a track record of results in digital communications and marketing that drives engagement. This individual stays on top of digital trends and content best practices and leads the evolution of Slipstream’s approaches in SEO, social media strategy and tactics, content strategy/optimization, paid and organic promotion, and user experience and accessibility.

Transforms technical facts and customer experiences into powerful stories that inspire people to engage in clean energy solutions.
Monitors content marketing trends and analyzes performance data to continuously improve campaign results.
Has worked extensively with style guidelines and knows how to match voice to a brand.
Understands and upholds accessibility standards and privacy compliance and data security policies (CCPA / GDPR / permission-based marketing).
Communicates Slipstream’s mission in new ways and new places.
Might be a news enthusiast with experience in a newsroom or a journalism-related degree.
Accelerate customer acquisition and engagement by creating inspiring SEO-optimized digital content with clear calls to action
Lead Slipstream’s social media and digital advertising strategies, creating and placing ads and writing and scheduling daily posts
Translate technical jargon into relatable content that resonates with customers
Write, proofread, edit, and fact-check content, adhering to Slipstream’s brand guidelines and best practices for quality, graphics, style, and appropriate voice/tone across digital channels
Craft engaging, mobile-optimized content for email blasts; manage distribution through our Pardot/Salesforce system; adhere to permission-based marketing policies; and analyze email campaign performance
Update Slipstream’s websites as assigned
Manage and measure social media and website performance: track, analyze, and report statistics, recommending actions to improve results
Drive new and innovative ways to convey content that engages all targeted audiences
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external contacts
Research industry trends and conduct keyword research
Excellent writing skills and a knack for creative storytelling
Expertise in writing engaging content and moving it from concept to implementation with little editorial oversight
Proven ability to write SEO-optimized content
Mastery of social media strategies
Ability to set key performance indicators and measure impact on website and conversions
Digital advertising or paid search marketing experience with a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice
Excellent project management skills: ability to work independently, establish priorities, work within deadlines, organize effectively, and multitask with strong attention to detail
Experience with email marketing automation software (Pardot preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Google Analytics or other website and social media analysis tools
Proficiency with Hootsuite or other social media management platforms
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to create under pressure
Fundamental knowledge of the energy and environmental industry
Comfort with content management systems (Drupal preferred)
Experience managing multiple timelines and differing projects at once
