Responsible for supporting the General Manager and VP, Director of Marketing in developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating the Shopping Center's Marketing Plans for The Shops at Wailea (TSAW). Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing promotional activities and perform related administrative duties. Duties also include researching market and merchant data; planning marketing strategies; planning budgets; coordinating and overseeing marketing, advertising, social media and public relations; preparing and analyzing sales reports, and oversee and coordinate annual tenant sales audit reports. Marketing Manager also collaborates with the Marketing Team (VP, Director of Marketing, Contracted vendors, Jenerate PR and Gilbert & Associates Advertising), TSAW website development, maintenance, and internet marketing strategies and tactics. Marketing Manager to work with VP, Director of Marketing on monthly gross sales analysis reports, Concierge and other special events held at TSAW. Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or related area required. • Extensive knowledge of Retail Real Estate. Luxury Retail Real Estate, preferred. • Extensive knowledge of market research, advertising, promotion concepts, strategies and practices. • Extensive knowledge of research methods, data analysis, and sales projections. • Excellent verbal and writing ability to produce and present reports and information to Management, Center merchants, and a variety of others. • Knowledge and experience in developing, executing, and monitoring departmental budgets. • Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with TSAW managers and staff, merchants, consultants, and a variety of audiences for TSAW.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the General Manager and VP, Director of Marketing to develop and implement the Marketing Plan and budgets for marketing, advertising, social media, community and public relations for promotions and events for TSAW. - Assist General Manager and VP, Director of Marketing in collecting, reviewing and analyzing market, tourism and merchant data to formulate marketing strategies, evaluate merchants' operations, and develop and execute programs for merchant assistance. - Writes and presents variance reports monthly to General Manager for Client Management Reports related to budget, evaluations of all marketing, social media and promotional activities. - Oversee, coordinate and implement TSAW website development, maintenance, and internet marketing strategies and tactics collaboratively with the Marketing Team. - Oversee agency relations including social media, public relations and advertising agencies. - Assist merchants in merchandise visual presentation and storefront display. - Assist General Manager with all merchant meetings, establish consistent communications for the Center's advertising and public relations strategies, while serving as the Center's direct liaison with the merchants in coordination with the public relations/ social media agencies. - Develop public relations opportunities for the TSAW by establishing and maintaining high profile relationships with the media, business community, trade associations, professional organization, and the community at large. - Oversee and maintain the collection, maintenance and constant updating of the TSAW photo library including all entertainment and cultural activities. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
