Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a behavioral health not-for-profit psychiatric residential treatment center serving adolescent children with mental health disorders, seeks an Assistant Director of Advancement to work out of the Richmond, Virginia office. Founded in 1855, Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services serves more than 100 boys and girls annually.
Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Advancement to raise awareness and raise private philanthropic funds in order to fulfill the mission of the organization. The Assistant Director of Advancement plays a critical role in identifying prospective donors, obtaining annual gifts, managing digital fundraising efforts, coordinating special events, and managing the web page. This position also conducts presentations describing the mission and vision of the organization to civic and religious organizations.
Qualified applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience working on digital marketing or fundraising campaigns, a working knowledge of fundraising database programs such as Raisers Edge or Abila, and the ability to socially engage donors to build lasting relationships.
A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, information technology, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field required. Three years’ experience developing and implementing digital fundraising and engagement campaigns in a not-for-profit setting is required. Thorough knowledge of CSS and HTML, with hands-on experience in content management systems required.
