Truckload sales for refrigerated division located in northeast region.
Executes strategic sales plans to capitalize on growth and customer development opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops and executes sales strategies for assigned territory to meet department goals.
Presents the entire range of company services to assigned customers in order to maximize revenue potential and profit levels.
Collaborates with sales, operations, and pricing teams to ensure a consistent and professional message is conveyed to customers across the network.
Compiles and updates target account list database.
Maintains relationships with former customers through continued communication.
Stays up to date with current market trends, pricing, and economic conditions for assigned territory.
Discusses rate proposals with pricing team to ensure rates meet corporate objectives.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Travels regularly (approximately 30%) to call on existing and prospective customers.
Receives and carries out instructions.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Solves problems and makes decisions independently and proactively.
Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
Uses computers and software programs proficiently.
Exhibits ability to read, write, talk, and hear; add, subtract, multiply, and divide; and lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver’s License
