Quark Expeditions, the leader in Polar adventure travel, is looking for an experienced, dynamic, travel industry professional to lead profitable sales growth through the partner channels in select markets.
The position is responsible for managing the partner sales in select markets and channels within a designated territory.
In conjunction with the Global Partnership Director, this position establishes the strategy and tactics to grow sales in select markets through market-share growth and profitable yield management. This involves identifying and implementing proactive solutions and tactics to ensure that productivity targets are met. The Account Manager will pursue ways to strengthen the business relationship with assigned accounts, contribute to revenue growth and profit generation by developing new accounts.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships and understand opportunities for future revenue growth in the indirect channels, including wholesalers and retailers.
Requires 5-7 years of experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably within the travel industry.
