Perkins Coie LLP has an immediate opening for a Content Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively engaging with intranet content owners to manage updates and facilitate the development of new content with a focus on end user engagement. This individual will also be responsible for on-demand content edits and will conduct regular content inventories with an eye towards updating or removing stale or outdated content.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of content on the firm’s intranet, including:
posting new content
removing outdated content
reviewing and revising existing content and page layouts with an eye towards web content best practices and user engagement
Under the direction and oversight of the Knowledge Management Internal Solutions Manager, work with practice groups, offices, administrative groups, and their support teams to review existing content, identify areas of improvement, and work with stakeholders to remediate. Provide training for site administrators as needed. Review search logs and site metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop a plan for improvement.
Required Skills: Demonstrated web content management skills, including basic HTML, with a focus on user engagement. Demonstrated ability to engage and interact with stakeholders to support department and firm goals while maintaining positive working relationships. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Able to quickly learn new skills and technologies and apply existing knowledge to new systems.
Preferred Skills: Experience conducting content inventories and making recommendations based on results. Project management experience. Experience in publishing content in a SharePoint environment.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of content experience required.
