Development-Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the Development Relationship Manager in prospecting, securing, and fulfilling, advertisements, sponsorships and exhibit sales for the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). Additionally, the position supports the various programs and activities of the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF).
Maintain sales records in NCRA’s Customer Relations Management system (CRM).
Serve as the contact for NCRA’s event sponsors.
As an NCRA development team member, attend meetings and calls with prospective advertisers and sponsors as needed.
Administer the benefits management system that supports the NCRA event sponsors exhibitors and advertisers. To include benefits delivery tracking and dissemination of support info and content to appropriate NCRA staff.
Maintain giving records in NCRF’s Customer Relations Management system (CRM).
Manage the key NCRF fundraising initiatives for maximum development and positive donor experiences.
Manage and execute online donations, text-to-give, and live fundraising events via MobileCause Platform.
Manage Foundation programs, such as the Oral Histories Program (Veterans and Holocaust Survivors), scholarships, grants, programs.
Staff liaison to task forces/committees associated with job responsibilities.
In collaboration with NCRA’s Marketing Department, help develop NCRF marketing strategy for media, events, programs.
Ensure that NCRF’s webpages and database are current.
Lead exhibiting of NCRF at NCRA events: i.e. Foundation booth.
Location and Travel
This role is based at NCRA/NCRF headquarters in Reston, VA.
Travel to periodic NCRA events.

Knowledge and skill requirements
Solid writing and communication skills
Experience with spreadsheets
3 years’ experience with CRM systems/data management
Ability to work collaboratively with both departmental and cross-departmental teams
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and projects
Contract management of display ads, classified ads, exhibitor contact, sponsor contracts and benefits
Generate reports and spreadsheets
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree at a 4-year college
3 years’ experience in a membership or charitable organization preferred
Volunteer management experience preferred
