The Product Specialist position at Moog Music maintains expert knowledge of all Moog Instruments. This position works closely with the Marketing department in developing meaningful content and relationships by educating our community about the features, applications, and value of Moog Synthesizers. The Product Specialist must be capable of understanding the most complex information about our instruments and have the ability to share this knowledge in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner. This person must have a deep connection to the Moog Brand in order to positively communicate our purpose to the community. The Product Specialist will increase our customers level of trust and engagement with our company through presentation of our instruments and synthesizer concepts. The individual we are looking for has a creative sensibility, is an expert in the field and has a passion for synthesis. This person loves a wide range of music and has the ability to synthesize the many features of our instruments in a manner that resonates with human beings of varying degrees of experience. Strong creativity, multi-tasking, and the ability to meet deadlines is a must for this position.

Provides essential artist support during video shoots.
Responsible for building a connection between instrument & artist.
Responsible for educating artists about our instruments in a manner that is appropriate to their skill level.
Responsible for ensuring we gather high quality sounds/performances from artists and demonstrate the instrument features appropriately for the market.
Responsible for sound design or sound design assistance for artists.
Help pick audio selects to be used in content.
Provide suggestions for artist collaborations.
Develop and create Moog Demo Library content.
Ensure that all internally created content accurately reflects the associated instrument.
Manage audio connectivity, equipment solutions and cabling for marketing events.
Help ideate installation designs/concepts that encourage meaningful experiences with our instruments.
Responsible for being the primary instrument specialist on-site for pop-ups/installations. Engage with customers, partners, and artists.
Offer feedback on Instrument UI, UX, and labeling.
Reviews technical graphics and text for instrument related public-facing communications.
Capable of performing in house Audio Engineering duties.
Liaison to external audio manufacturers for loans/sponsorships.
Reviews and offers feedback to audio engineer responsible for video audio mixing/mastering.
Ensures all audio that leaves the building is quality and representative of the Moog Sound.
Create Sound Samples that properly represent the instrument to the market.
Facilitate, create, and evaluate presets designed to guide & inspire beginner and experienced synthesizers alike.
Develop ongoing FAQ for new & core products Responsible for providing instrument assistance, guidance, and troubleshooting internally and with partners/artists.
Responsible for beta testing new instruments and updates to core products.
Test & evaluate new products through the development process
Facilitate product reviews and ensure reviewers are supported throughout the review process.
Obtain customer feedback and suggest appropriate suggestions for new product development.
Obtain customer feedback and recommend product enhancements and updates.
Conduct product trainings to the Sales & Marketing teams
Stay current on trends in the marketplace to ensure our competitive advantage.

3 years’ experience in product marketing, product sales, or related role.
Extensive understanding of synthesis, synthesizers, and music production
Expert product knowledge of Moog Instruments
Extensive knowledge of at least one DAW
Must be a team player
Must value the importance of collaboration and open communication
Must be a creative individual who enjoys working in a busy and fast paced environment with a high level of accuracy and quality of work.
Must be able to elevate the needs of the end user above personal preference or desire.
Strong communication skills.
