The University of Indianapolis is seeking applicants for a Director of Graduate Studies in Public Relations, starting in August of 2020. This is a ten-month contract and comes with an expectation of summer teaching. Administrative duties include advising graduate students and developing curricula as well as the promotion and oversight of the Master’s of Art in Public Relations. Candidates should have experience in public relations and a record of effective pedagogy, as they will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level. Administrative experience and curriculum development will be viewed favorably. Scholarship and service will also influence the successful candidate’s annual evaluation. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
Requirements: Applicants must possess a terminal degree in Communication or a closely related field, at least two years of teaching experience in higher education, and evidence of effective pedagogy. ABD will be considered.
