We are seeking entrepreneurial, tech savvy, analytical MBA Summer interns to help shape the future of Georgia-Pacific’s North American Consumer Business. Georgia-Pacific’s familiar consumer brands include Angel Soft and Quilted Northern bath tissue, Brawny® and Sparkle® paper towels, Vanity Fair napkins and the Dixie line of tableware. Based in Atlanta, GA, this 12-week project-based program is designed to provide meaningful work experience, along with an opportunity to experience GP’s unique culture and management philosophy, MBM® (Market Based Management).
What will an intern do?
Interns will lead a strategic project focused on improving our existing business or expanding into new businesses. The project will require the interns to apply their strategic, technological, and analytical skills to build points of view and provide recommendations to senior business leaders that help the consumer business create value for customers and consumers. Interns will be placed into any one of the following capabilities for the internship:

Assignments and capability placement will vary based on the candidate’s background and interests, and on the current needs of the business. Candidates interested in brand/general management may intern within a category/brand team or within a capability, but with a strategic project focused on a general business need. Additional projects may be undertaken, time permitting.
Interns get broad exposure to leadership across the organization through networking events such as lunch and learns. Additionally, interns get exposure to leadership within their functional area throughout the Summer. High-performing interns will be considered, upon graduation, for full-time employment at Georgia-Pacific.

Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time Graduate degree program (MBA, PhD, or MS Preferred) with graduation date of spring 2021 or earlier
