Ensure the content of all SEMA & PRI websites are current, relevant and consistent with the overall content strategy plan of the association’s strategic initiatives and goals. Assist with content, coding and troubleshooting of association digital assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Support association teams with up-to-date content material.
Implement content production of all association digital marketing materials.
Brainstorm and collaborate with Web Development team for new ideas and content strategies to enhance online, digital & social media objectives.
Adhere to schedule and calendar plans for content releases.
Implement all online content update materials and campaigns.
Manage content across SEMA & PRI websites.
Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers.
Reports to Interactive UX Architect.
Coordinates information flow between various departments.
Interfaces with all levels of staff from all departments.
Interfaces with outside vendors and/or agencies relevant to digital marketing, advertising and communications projects.
Interfaces with IT, consumers, association members, vendors, writers, photographers and advertisers.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Proven understanding of the Internet and managing content online.
Ability to work with programmers, technicians and graphic artists to achieve compelling web pages that are relevant, correct and timely.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills; ability to work in a faced-paced environment, on multiple projects with little supervision.
Demonstrated editorial experience, understanding and experience in web-based production and experience in project initiation and development, proven experience and general knowledge of promotional strategies and planning.
Knowledge of computer systems, including basic understanding of web-based publishing and software (i.e.. Drupal CMS, Bootstrap Front-End Frameworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Programming IDEs). Solid competence in MS Office programs and Outlook.
