The company is seeking individuals in the following regions of the United States: Western States, Midwestern States and Northeastern States to manage regional sales. The Regional Sales Person is primarily responsible for all Lease Financing transactions in assigned states to self-developed clients - municipal and commercial. This position is responsible for all sales generation, development of prospect contacts, negotiations and closing of lease financing products. As a direct sales person, there is extensive travel expected to create onsite visits on a weekly basis throughout the sales territory supporting existing clients and developing new opportunities. Trade Show attendance and the like are expected to occur regularly including participating as a Vendor with a booth. This position reports to the President and will co-develop marketing and sales strategies tailored to this region. The successful candidate is expected to be self-directed and will operate independently within the defined sales territory coordinating frequently with the President and other Sales Team Members.
Skills and Industry Knowledge:
An ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people at client locations and internally with all staff levels. Demonstrated customer service experience is required.
Demonstrated abilities working with varied online systems for billing, invoicing, and quotations; fundamental PC, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills; and written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Vacuum Truck and Trailer Equipment, brands and configurations; related equipment such as roll off boxes, trucks and trailers, etc.; and a general knowledge of typical industrial equipment.
Common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for industrial equipment products and services.
Existing client relationships in the Vacuum Truck/Trailer and Industrial Equipment Industries is a plus.
Education and Experience:
A 4-year college degree or equivalent work related experience.
Demonstrated direct sales experience, 5 plus years, in the Vacuum Truck/Trailer or industrial equipment sales in the targeted Northern USA States with personal knowledge of clients, contractors and vendors in the targeted market area.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation is commission with base. Additionally, there will be opportunity for commissions on income generation from leases referred to other Banking entities in WC Leasing Banking Consortium. The company offers typical range of employee benefits.
