Summary of Essential Job Duties:
As an Interaction Designer, you'll take primary responsibility for leading the interaction design activities and deliverables including task flows, wireframes, prototypes, pattern libraries, design documentation, storyboards and scenarios for projects. You have a combination of hands-on design skills and the ability to guide the user experience.
Craft the interactions, visuals, and design assets for mobile and web platforms.
Collaborate with multiple teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the project direction, visuals and experience.
Participate in product decisions from definition to release.
Work with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements for new and existing features.
Collaborate with developers during sprints to answer questions and validate features as they are being developed.
Analyze, map, and optimize user flow.
Conceptualize original ideas, with an emphasis on simplicity and user friendliness.
Understand target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translate them into user friendly concepts and functional components.
Understand the development implications of your design decisions and partner with development team members to understand opportunities and limitations of solutions being proposed.
Serve as in-house expert and build team awareness of UI concepts.
Advocate for users and interaction design best practices.
Establish best practices and standards to be used by product and engineering.
Create and document accessibility standards and ensure accessibility is baked into products.
