Biodirect Inc. is a leading supplier of pre-owned, refurbished and certified laboratory instrumentation and automation. Biodirect is seeking a Midwest Regional Account Manager (Inside Sales) to be responsible for driving the sales of laboratory automation and instrumentation to various research organizations. This role will be based in our Taunton Massachusetts headquarters. This is primarily an Inside Sales / Phone Sales role, with the potential for limited overnight travel.
Manage and develop sales territory by driving incremental sales to existing and new customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within the customer base.
Increase customer base through general research and outbound phone selling efforts. Update and maintain Biodirect's CRM database.
Create a sustainable pipeline of potential sales opportunities through outbound phone selling efforts.
Acurately forecast and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Provide weekly & monthly reports to sales management.
Previous scientific sales experience with the focus on selling capital equipment. Experience in a phone selling environment is preferred.
Demonstrated history of successfully achieving prior sales goals and targets.
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter who is motivated and enthusiastic.
Strong Customer Service skills.
Additional Salary Information: Annual Bookings goal for 2019 - $500K to $750K (based on date of hire in 2019). Commissions will be based on starting salary.
