Be primarily responsible for managing and executing the overall service effort for assigned accounts.
Oversee the execution of projects to ensure the client’s expectations and goals are achieved.
Maintain strong client relationships, responsible for the care, maintenance and growth of the accounts.
Collaborate with the client and Account Director in project planning, offering creative ideas where possible and notifying them of any opportunities to save them money, especially with postage discounts.
Ensure the successful completion of the following for production:
Work ticket creation for complex projects without supervision
Work with the Scheduling Department to achieve client’s requested mail/ship date
Outside vendor coordination
Handle QC & hourly checks
Manage billing process
Develop and maintain a strong rapport with other departments.
Enter quote requests as needed; provide the Estimating Department with all the necessary information to assure an accurate estimate.
Be aware of all pertinent changes in postal rules, rates and regulations.
The ability to manage high-profile complex accounts independently.
An innovative mind, strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
Good verbal, writing and computer skills in order to communicate clearly and effectively with external and internal contacts.
The ability to act as a liaison between Production, Sales and the client.
3-7 years of experience in Account Service, Direct Marketing and/or Print Production.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with coursework in related area (Marketing, Communications or Advertising) or relevant work experience.
