The Marketing Communications Manager works closely with the Marketing Manager and the Director of Content with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, management of social media, website updates, copy editing, and other communications/marketing related initiatives.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates content and implements social media, digital and email campaigns, including developing plans and schedules.
Actively coordinates marketing automation and Google analytics data to support and nurture pipeline processes, including distribution of leads to membership and marketing team members
Analyzes marketing, social media, website, and other data to assist with implementation of strategies.
Assists with the development of effective, targeted marketing campaigns
Copywriter for projects such as web, e-media, brochures, direct mail, ads, etc.
Utilizes Informz to conduct attractive, targeted, and effective email campaigns.
Assists with the creation of an annual tradeshow booth.
Creates and sends weekly Essentials e-newsletter
Creates and sends monthly Member Benefit e-newsletter
Edits and posts blogs multiple times each week to NALP’s content site, including acquiring art/photos.
Internal point person for website updates, must have RISE and Worpress experience
Manages, facilitates, and participates in company LinkedIn discussion groups, Facebook groups, Twitter groups, LawnSite.com public forums, etc.
Understand all membership benefits, programs and events
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business preferred and 3-5 years related experience
Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues
Experience with both RISE and Wordpress CMS systems
Strong customer service and sales skills
Communicates clearly, fluently and knowledgeably with members, vendors and prospects
Proficient in the use of all forms of media including social and industry sites, industry-related software, computer, copier and other office equipment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
MS Office Suite required
