Association for Advancing Automation – Ann Arbor, Michigan
The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) is looking for an experienced sales professional to help us grow our association and its events. We have an established pipeline of prospects within our four trade associations and you’ll sell them exhibit space, sponsorships, and membership. You’ll also work with our Director of Sales and our marketing team to help establish new prospects for our services. Additionally, you'll support on-site operations for our major events. The successful candidate will join our talented team of 20 in our beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan office. You'll be a key member of the leading global trade group for this fast growing industry. Here's what we're looking for:
Minimum five years business to business sales experience with a proven track record of success
Great writing and communications skills
Enthusiasm, positive attitude and ability to get along well with people
Trade show exhibit and/or related sales experience
Ability to travel occasionally
Experience selling to an international audience is a plus
Knowledge of automation technology and/or trade associations is a plus
Trade show operations experience a plus
