As an account manager, you will be responsible for business development in your given territory. Also, you will be responsible for the sales strategic planning and the market analysis of the Southeast U.S. You will be in charge of sales. In particular, you will be responsible for: •Meet sales goals in the assigned region •Develop and grow business in the designated region while maintaining the established network •Develop and maintain relationships with influencers of key institutions/organizations and funding agencies •Assist provider suppliers in new business opportunities development in the region and follow up on identified opportunities •Coordinate the VP sales involvement in order to meet the partners' performance goals as well as their expectations •Establish credibility with potential customers clients •Listen to clients and engage with them in a conversation to understand and identify their needs and then propose solutions by matching the right product or service to meet the needs •Demonstrate the skills to confidently discuss issues such as funding sources, medical necessity, delivery, demonstrations and instruction, advocacy, and support •When applicable, assist the Director of U.S. Operations by ensuring that deliverables are on time and within budget •Participate in conferences and industry fairs as required. •Ability to travel is required for this position (approximately 50-70% of the time) •Regular and accurate forecasts and reports on activities and sales in the region •Contribute to development proposals including innovative approaches and methodology •Prepare monthly sales forecast reports
Expertise: •A bachelor's degree or higher education in biomedical engineering, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or any other field related to health and/or biomedical •3 years’ experience in technical sales •Work experience with a CRM system •Ability to present technological products and the benefits they bring to a specific customer base •Customer service oriented with a good work ethic and a sense of urgency •Ability to self-manage your sales territory deal with the territorial management, conclude the agreements, negotiate, prospect •Show empathy, patience, and persistence •Comfortable working with people with disabilities •Strong organizational, time management and negotiation skills, sales motivation, client relationships •Alertness, creativity and problem solving •Capacity for technical learning related to Kinova's product lines •Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite Nice to Haves: •Knowledge of robotics, motorized wheelchairs, rehabilitation •Knowledge of another language, like Spanish •Knowledge of funding processes in the region
