Be knowledgeable in insurance products, including Life, Disability and Long-Term Care, to lead and develop a high performing team of deep product experts in sales execution strategies. Use a mindset of innovation to create a vision that drives efficiency in field sales support by combining product knowledge, sales strategies and emerging technology solutions. This position will work to educate and provide support to our advisors through case consultations, define the execution of product solutions to implement financial plans and drive the future of our support activities. Collaborate across departments and divisions to align to our strategic mission and goals by leading high impact projects and/or having liaison responsibilities for various regions, product areas and/or market segment teams. Deliver training on products, markets, sales concepts and related planning topics to advanced audiences (e.g. field leadership and senior management). Deliver expert guidance to a variety of audiences and collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Team to help them achieve corporate sales goals. Featured speaker at events in the home office or in the network office on planning, product and markets Lead the consumer learning agenda working closely with marketing, product and digital teams to develop production communication and strategies that are grounded in deep consumer understanding.
Educate and collaborate with field leaders to promote NM’s planning philosophy, increase planning adoption and help influence risk and investment product sales.
Innovate to help develop better effectiveness in training/supporting our field on best practices for planning throughout the sales cycle.
Provide quality planning and sales consultations and presentations to the field on the integration of financial products to create solutions for clients via inbound calls, long-distance training methods, schools and visits to network offices.
Organizational thinking and strategic planning to execute on proactive sales initiatives from concept to completion.
In collaboration with our product line partners and NM at large, contribute and/or lead division and departmental projects to support the strategic mission and goals for Planning and Sales.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
B.S. degree in business, finance, marketing or related field desired; MBA preferred
5-8 years’ experience in a financial services environment focused on presenting and educating the audience on a multitude of financial products. In-depth understanding of financial services products and financial planning. Excellent knowledge and application of consultation skills
Confident ability to consult on complex topics and scenarios and propose effective, needs-based solutions. Ability to identify and address problems, opportunities, wants and needs of the field and their clients in a suitable manner. Demonstrated ability to be a positive and engaged team player
Ability to gain support and commitment for ideas or points of view from others while mobilizing them to take action
Demonstrated ability to lead large and/or high impact cross-functional projects or has had liaison responsibilities across division or departments for Region, Product or Markets
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver quality presentations with specific goals and objectives. Demonstrated ability to carry self well in all settings, including large group engagements. Strong technical market research skills that include; quantitative, qualitative, primary, and secondary
FINRA licensed; Series 6 license to service investment products and planning software
CFP preferred or other relevant designations such as CLU, ChFC, CFA, CASL, MSFS, or other advanced degree.
