The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) seeks a community engaged leader, tireless brand ambassador and fundraiser to deepen SFIC’s connections to the community, expand philanthropic support and lead the transformation of economically disadvantaged neighborhoods through the education of their talented youth.
SFIC provides children in need with the opportunity to receive a high quality, values-based education in a nurturing and safe environment. The Fund provides partial-tuition scholarships to economically disadvantaged children attending private and parochial schools, grades K-12, within Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union counties.
In order to meet the educational needs of promising young students throughout New Jersey’s inner city districts, the CEO will be an energetic fundraising representative, adept at conveying the core message that educating children in our inner cities is a moral obligation and a socio-economic imperative.
