Director, Clinical Outreach
This position reports to Executive Director, Marketing.
The director, clinical outreach, will plan, develop and execute a comprehensive program to maintain high-value relationships between the Hospital and clinicians who have made referrals or are in a position to make referrals to the Hospital’s various clinical programs. The position will:
Identify and maintain a roster of clinicians who have made referrals to the Hospital or who represent opportunities for referrals
Develop programs to Increase awareness of Silver Hill among designated clinicians and inform them of the resources available and benefits of the Hospital’s transitional living and other programs.
Serve as liaison between referring clinicians and the Hospital’s Admissions department and other staff as necessary to facilitate the admissions process
Plan, direct and implement a clinician call program, including in-person meetings, office visits, luncheons and special events
Coordinate arrangements for and attend selected local, regional and national industry conferences
Recruit, supervise, motivate and monitor the performance of clinical outreach staff, including local and regional outreach managers
Stay abreast of and inform Hospital management of industry factors affecting Hospital-Clinician relationships, including changes in the competitive environment, and changes in clinician referral patterns.
In addition, the director, clinical outreach will contribute to the Hospital’s overall marketing efforts by participating in a variety of marketing activities, including but not limited to:
working with the Hospital’s advertising agency and other suppliers
speaking before professional groups,
contributing ideas for the Hospital’s website and social media programs and
supporting as called upon the various service lines and programs of the Hospital.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare or related setting. The candidate should have a successful track record in professional services liaison and/or customer relationship management. The successful candidate will be outgoing, have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be equally adept at program development and execution. Prior experience in healthcare clinical outreach will be valued highly.
The candidate should be prepared to spend a considerable portion of his or her time off-campus and therefore should have reliable transportation for which reimbursement will be paid. From time to time weekend and/ or evening hours will be required.
