Strick Trailers leads the industry in the design and manufacturing of customized aluminum van trailers used to transport all types of freight. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to help our dealers and sales team identify and develop solutions for our customers and prospects all across the USA. Leading, coaching and motivating a team of associates from our dealer development, marketing and customer service programs will be your primary focus as well as actively participating in our product development team as we attempt to
Stimulate and identify sales opportunities to support our plans for production growth
Ensure appropriate coverage of all accounts
Develop effective product pricing models
Provide effective training and support material to all sales representatives and dealers
Develop innovative products and services to appeal to and deliver to new clients
Build tools to identify prospects and maintain customer information
Generate sales revenue
This new position will be based in our Monroe, Indiana manufacturing facility, guided by and reporting directly to the President of Strick Trailers. Moderate travel to visit selected accounts and dealers and occasional representation at industry conventions and meetings required.
Strick Trailers is a privately held team based heavy manufacturing business with an Employee Stock Ownership Program. We expect all Team Members will promote our products, services and image to all external stakeholders with professionalism, honesty and integrity.
This position will have a base salary with eligibility for profit sharing. Full benefits package available.
The position requires 5 years proven sales, business development or other relevant experience. Industry experience preferred.
