SUMMARY: The Senior Sales Manager manages the EFCO Sales Agencies or Company Direct Sales Force assigned to a specific geographic region or regions. Key responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, and development of EFCO field sales representation. The Senior Sales Manager develops sales plans and forecasts as well as action plans for the sales region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with all Sales Representatives within the region. •Facilitate enhanced communication between the Sales Representatives and EFCO. •Work cross-functionally with the Executive Team to set sales goals for the upcoming year. Review each Representatives progress and adjust plans and strategy throughout the year to achieve those goals. •Assess strengths & weaknesses of each Sales Representatives and develop and implement support strategies as required. •Create an annual business plan for each Sales Representatives to direct and influence sales and business growth. •Develop and maintain relationships with Key Customers and Buying Influences within the region. •Assist reps with customer sales calls, architectural, and buying influence presentations. •Aggressively pursue negotiated work with our customers. •Determine and maintain best pricing. •Provide pertinent competitive feedback to Executive Team. •Build and maintain customer loyalty. •Develop and maintain a list of alternative rep firms in underperforming territories. •Work diligently to keep Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales initiatives and strategies aligned. (Share pertinent customer feedback with applicable departments). •Attend regional & national trade shows to promote EFCO products and develop corporate relationships. •Drive reduction in DSO.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Sales Manager will have direct supervisory responsibility for all EFCO Factory Direct Sales branches and personnel within the region.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; and 10 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

If during this time it is determined that the employee cannot successfully fulfill the requirements of this position, every attempt will be made to return the employee to his/her previous job assignment, if it has not already been filled by another employee.
