This position is responsible for the execution of fundraising e-mail campaigns, support for other online efforts including peer-to-peer campaigns, and the creation of online tools needed to help foster successful community giving initiatives. The candidate will plan and manage the production of these efforts and keep projects on deadline. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, creative thinking, sharp organization and multi-tasking abilities and adept at meeting deadlines. The applicant should be willing to research and try different techniques to test response, assist with developing new donation opportunities and record/analyze campaign and monthly revenue reports.
Project manage multi-channel campaign, executing strategies to increase revenue via the web and other digital properties (email, text, social). This can include supporting community giving efforts with online materials, such as peer-to-peer donation pages, working with the Email Marketing Specialist or managing an external vendor to complete the project.
Work towards the core goal of cultivating future generations to become donors to CRS. Explore new strategic messaging and targeted demographics to attract new donors and diversify both the donor mix and method of giving within the agency's future donor database. Collaborate with other Charitable/Annual Giving Teams, the Web Unit, Church Engagement, and Editorial for all digital and community giving needs.
Execute on the work in CG and Church Engagement that has begun on the development of a strategy in mobilizing generational markets. With an average donor age of approximately 71 years, CG is specifically looking for deeper engagement with "younger" generations, which can mean young Boomers, Generation X and Millennials.
Help identify opportunities to connect individuals in community groups with ongoing CRS network development strategies. Through these connections seek to enhance and expand CRS' relationships with existing networks (e.g. Mid-Level donors, Major Donor Leadership, Fair Trade Ambassadors, etc.) as well as newly emerging networks (e.g. online Social Network, Parish Strategy volunteers, Hispanic, etc.)
Provide oversight, including quality control (e.g. checking all links in digital campaigns, making test donations to ensure the process is successful) and troubleshooting problems. Maintain records for all campaigns for each fiscal year. Share analysis with appropriate stakeholders.
Stay abreast of professional trends and issues affecting digital, peer to peer and community fundraising, demonstrating continuous learning in the field.
Cross train job responsibility, functionality and help train other CRS employees to create backup for digital marketing materials.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
This position requires a strong time management skill background, but also a structured and detailed oriented individual, able to work under tight deadlines
Good writing and editing skills, with a willingness to learn techniques that help maximize response.
Comfort with working in and editing HTML code
Ability to speak, write and present information clearly
Willingness to adapt to and learn new web techniques as the internet changes
Detail oriented and proactive, working well under pressure
Requires minimal supervision, with strong decision making and negotiating skills
Eagerness to learn basic fundraising concepts and donor/consumer psychology
Conceptual thinker, manage multiple projects and able to work within deadlines
Solid "team player" who is able to operate a large number of simultaneous campaigns
BA. or BS degree preferred
Minimum 3 years in digital marketing, fundraising or a related field
Experience interacting with digital marketing/engagement software a plus
An understanding of digital marketing trends for all consumer marketing mediums: e-commerce, email campaigns, digital display ads, conversion landing pages, social, etc.
Experience in direct response fundraising a plus
Proficient Microsoft Office
Experience with website conversion strategies a plus
Project a positive donor service attitude in all aspects of duties internally and externally
Experience in current CRS platforms a plus (EveryAction, Mobile Commons, Basecamp, WorkFront, Drupal)
