The Climate Council of Australia is planning a press trip for Australian journalists to witness California’s renewable energy revolution up close - and we’re hiring a US-based Events Specialist to help us deliver it!
Reporting to the Director of the Climate Media Centre, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of this press trip, including: managing travel bookings; finalising itineraries; securing film and photography access to key renewable energy sites; and working with our media team in Australia to lock in interview talent.
During the trip, you’ll act as the point person for logistics to ensure that everything runs like clockwork and journalists have a great experience and return home with loads of interesting stories to file.
This is a three month contract engagement for a resource on the ground based in California.
An events and logistics specialist, you’ll have a proven record in delivering complex and large-scale events. An organisational whiz, with an eye for detail, you will be self motivated and driven to succeed!
