Other skills vital to this position include understanding the life cycle of a project and how to juggle multiple clients and projects at once. In addition, candidate must be able to understand the strategic implications of sales data and how that effects the marketing strategy while managing project details and handling day-to-day client communication to maintain proper project flow. This position is a member of the client services team and reports to the director of marketing services.
Primary Responsibilities • Manage projects for multiple clients o Work directly with the client and on-site sales teams to understand initiatives, make recommendations and handle project implementation o Setup billing for clients and manage expenses to a predetermined budget o Assist with quarterly reviews of marketing and annual strategic plans as needed
• Involvement with creative, production, research, media and accounting teams o Practice clear, concise and accurate oral and written communication o Interface daily with traffic/creative, for project schedules and workflow status, due dates, production details/project specifications, etc. o Coordinate internal review of creative work o Prepare project proposals and coordinate production estimates o Research and purchase mailing lists
• Prepare written communications, both for the internal team and for clients; organize and maintain project documentation files, both hardcopy and electronic o Schedule and initiate project kick-off meetings o Prepare creative briefs o Write and distribute meeting reports, status reports, etc. o Ensure project documentation is filed appropriately to the company server and online project management system
• Communicate project schedules with clients and internally o Coordinate with members of the sales team and clients about due dates, feedback, approvals, etc. o Communicate direct mail drop dates, ad run dates, online and digital marketing launch dates, call-tracking codes, etc., to the sales team and clients in a timely and documented fashion
• Prepare sales and marketing results reports o Review sales reports and other data to prepare campaign analysis o Assist with the development of client reports
